by Lash Magazine

As part of its commitment to sustainable development, the Hôtel de Crillon aims to introduce its guests to traditional French savoir-faire.

The famous leather-goods house, Camille Fournet, was founded in 1945 in Picardy. The house has built its international reputation on its traditional expertise and unique, refined style, which showcases the true beauty of the exquisite materials used, such as alligator, ostrich and python.

During this exceptional event, a master leatherworker from Camille Fournet will do a demonstration of the techniques of his craft, handed down for generations. The master leatherworker will demonstrate and explain all of the stages of making – paring, smoothing, dyeing and stitching – for small leather goods.

In the legendary setting provided by the Hotel de Crillon and its gift shop, lovers of beautiful, finely crafted and sustainable products will be delighted by the experience afforded by Camille Fournet’s exceptionnal, personalised service.

Guests will even be able to indulge in their desire to become the prod owners of exclusive made-to-mesure goods.
